Michael Krbavac – Junior Sous Chef
Mike started working in restaurants as a dishwasher at the age of 15. He has never looked back! Mike could never see himself in an office setting working at a desk. He was attracted to the fast-paced and dynamic environment that a restaurant provided. Mike quickly worked his way up to the line and cooking and he knew that he had found his niche as he loved the hands-on experience.
Mike decided to make cooking his career attending Georgian College. During this time, Mike apprenticed under classically trained chefs attaining a wide array of culinary skills and techniques. Mike achieved his Red Seal certification at the age of 23 and he is very proud of this accomplishment. He gained experience in short order, fine dining and large event style executions. Mike spent seven years in the private club industry catering to a wide variety of specific needs.
Mike joined the team at Stone House to help be a part of building something truly great, setting the bar high and always executing at a high standard. He is passionate about what he does and loves being part of a solid team.
